Garden Club Contract

 

Mrs. Finney and Mrs. Isaacson are the Garden Club Coordinators and are committed to providing a safe environment that fosters garden etiquette and farming skills. They are volunteering their time and expertise to this club and love that they are able to do this for Donlon’s children.  

 

The following will help to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time:

 

All members must promise to follow all the rules for behavior and participation (which are discussed during the first few weeks of Garden Club and periodically reviewed) to ensure the safety of all. Members must show respect for all adults and peers including active listening, caring, kindness, and friendship. Also members must demonstrate patience as seeds take time to grow. If asked to take a "time out" from an activity due to failure to follow rules, a notice will be sent home requiring a parent signature. If you receive three notices, you will not be allowed to return to Garden Club. 

 

Garden Club members are expected to participate in collaborative conversations and cooperate positively with their peers. Members will work safely with tools and show responsibility for their actions. 

 

Parent Reminder

By allowing your child to apply to the club, you are acknowledging and agreeing to our 3:50 pick-up policy. You must pick up your children on time (3:50) because the school campus closes and our meetings will be finished.  For every minute late, there will be a $1 charge that will go towards funding future garden projects. However, if you are more than five minutes late on more than two occasions, your child will no longer be able to attend Garden Club.

 

No guests may attend with your child.
